There is no need to rush: one hundred and seven years after Gerrit Rietveld's chair, I am finally designing a floor lamp to keep it company. Dark lines, a construction of right angles, two arms, a single leg and a funny little head — yet I can well imagine it sketching out a salute before trotting towards the exit. The spark of life is these three bulbs, with their mischievous lights.

This creature, named l’Édifice, is a unique pair, handcrafted in the workshop. It is exclusively exhibited in our boutique: 7 rue Saint‑Roch in Paris.
