Design as a gift
Designed by Sigolène Prébois and created by Tsé & Tsé Associées, here is the Élémentaire Lamp.
Unique in the Tsé & Tsé universe, the Élémentaire Lamp project is yours open source. It's your turn, and we will guide you step by step so you can make YOUR Élémentaire Lamp.
The joy of making it yourself, cooperation, cost reduction, ecology... follow the thread.
It all started with the discovery of a beautiful roll of bamboo, thin slats in an appealing honey color. Why not play with the delicacy of this material to imagine a large, flat lamp?

Once the slats are assembled, all you have to do is add the bulb, and you're done!
Like a brushstroke in space, the Élémentaire Lamp seems to defy gravity. It's not that simple, though; the very light lamp must keep its feet on the ground. To do this, we repurposed a common object: the cast iron weight plate you'll find in sports stores. But you can also use a weight or a sandbag...

This lamp is thus made of contrasts: wood that is both solid and very light, exposed hardware, and weight.
This is what we liked: showing all the elements that make it up, the path that the light takes through space.
The Élémentaire Lamp is easy to make for anyone who enjoys DIY. We are making the list of the elements that make it up, the cutting plans, and the valuable instructions available to you free of charge, which can be downloaded here: Élémentaire Lamp Recipe
It's your turn!
Skill sharing, homemade, sustainability... Elementary, my dear!
