“If there is one tableware collection to remember from the 20th century, it is the Affamée and Assoiffée range designed by Catherine Lévy and Sigolène Prébois, better known as Tsé & Tsé. Their concept of embracing the whimsical nature of porcelain and making the most of it radically changed the approach of manufacturers,” says Vincent Collin. “In porcelain, you could say there was a before and an after Tsé & Tsé.”

The tribute is so vibrant that the Dame Blanche is blushing! It should be noted that Vincent Collin knows what he is talking about: he is one of the leaders of the Virebent company, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary today in Occitanie.

At the end of the 1990s, Frédérique Caillet and Vincent Collin took over the ceramic factory where the very young designers of Tsé & Tsé were already working. It was innovation and boldness that revived the company, which Tsé & Tsé Associées remains a loyal supporter of.

Drawing on this historical connection and professional esteem, Vincent Collin gave Sigolène Prébois free rein to celebrate the factory's centenary and pay tribute to Catherine Lévy, her late partner. La Dame Blanche was born, and this large sculptural candle holder celebrates the friendships they shared.
